Whether you're brand new to horses or looking to sharpen your skills, our lesson program meets you exactly where you are — and takes you further than you imagined.
How It Works
A Full Hour, Start to Finish
A Ruby Moon lesson isn't just about time in the saddle. Each one-hour session includes getting your horse from the stall or pasture, tacking up, the ride itself, and untacking and putting your horse away afterward.
This hands-on approach teaches horsemanship from the ground up — because a great rider understands their horse before they ever pick up the reins.
Lessons are typically scheduled once a week, but riders are welcome to come more often. The more you ride, the faster you grow.
Disciplines
What We Teach
Saddle Seat
Classic English riding with an upright, elegant position. A natural fit for gaited breeds and our primary specialty.
Huntseat on the Flat
Forward-seat English riding focused on balance, rhythm, and a harmonious connection with your horse — no jumping required.
Western
Select western disciplines available. Styles vary — please inquire directly to discuss what's currently offered.

Open to beginner through advanced riders. Each lesson includes tacking up, ride time, and untacking.
Tiny Tot Program
Big Adventures for Little Riders
Designed for riders 7 and under, our Tiny Tot program is the perfect — and affordable — introduction to the world of horses. Each 30-minute session is full of learning, laughter, and a little magic.
Little ones help tack up their horse, enjoy their ride, and then help untack afterward (if they still have the energy — we know how kids are!). Every lesson ends with the best part: giving their horse a well-earned treat.
